What is a family for benefit purposes?

Myself, and my partner, whether married or civil partner, and including any partner of the opposite or same sex that I live with in a couple relationship and anyone to whom I am validly polygamously married in a country that permits polygamy and any dependent children, under the age of 16, (i.e. for whom I receive Child Benefit) and any dependent young people, under the age of 20, who are in full-time non-advanced education (i.e. for whom I receive Child Benefit) and any dependent young people, aged 20, who are in full-time non-advanced education and started their course when they were 18 (i.e. for whom I receive Child Benefit).
